Hi! This is my first solo game as starcerealgames! Its only 5 minutes long and based on one of my favorite games of 2022, the hit game Vampire Survivors. It only takes 5 minutes so I hope you enjoy!

Major:

Added a pause feature! Hit enter or esc to pause the game.

Added character selection! I wanted to make this a gold sink but the save function was really buggy so I'll scrap it until I can fix it.

Added a level selection screen! Ramping up for a new stage. Please look forward to new maps, I know players have been itching to push past the 5 minute mark.

The initial cast includes:

• Jolt
• Kyle
• Hero
• Lord Lapu

New weapon: Scimitar!

Slice up your foes with a short-ranged, multi slash. For experts!

Minor

• Cleaver upgrades match the flavor text
• Added level 5 projectiles for arrows, scimitar, and cleaver
• Level 5 Light beam size changed so its cooler
• Level 5 Light Beam damage 30 to 25 (Miiiight've overtuned this one XD)
• Level 5 Cleaver damage 30 to 25 (max level cleaver runs were getting crazy)
• Level 5 Spear damage 20 to 25 (spear needed love after 0 updates since 1.00)
• Changed Metal Golem collision size and increased knock-back resistance
• Turned down world background music from -22db to -25db
• Turned down menu background music from -20db to -22db
• Level and Upgrade Name labels switched (should look better)
• Added a thank you note for winning

Known Bugs:

• Does not work in Firefox. Use Chrome or Edge!
• Clicking on icon of level up wont work
• Major frame rate drops, especially around 4:30   ):
• Frame rate drops if you run around not killing enemies
• Black artifacts on certain computers
• Weapon audio won't fully play out if it ends before the duration
